WWE RAW Viewership Rises On 9/4, Demo Remains Even

WWE RAW viewership increased on September 4.

Per Sports TV Ratings, an average of 1.704 million viewers watched the show this week. This number is up from last week when 1.677 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.51 rating, which stayed even from last week (0.51 rating in the same demographic). 

Monday’s episode came on the Labor Day holiday. Additionally, it was up against a buzzworthy NCAA football game between Clemson and Duke, which drew over four million viewers.

This Week’s WWE RAW

This week’s episode of WWE RAW opened with new RAW Superstar Jey Uso. He was interrupted by Sami Zayn, and the two wound up embracing in an emotional reunion.

Elsewhere on the show, Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark. The two women showed respect for one another after the match-up. Plus, The Viking Raiders defeated Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle after Kofi Kingston’s interference backfired.

It was also announced that SmackDown will receive trade compensation for Jey Uso. Later in the show, the broadcast team confirmed that Cody Rhodes will return to RAW next week after missing the last two episodes.

In the main event, Gunther defeated Chad Gable to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
