WWE RAW Viewership Slightly Up On 8/28, Demo Also Rises

WWE RAW viewership rises on August 28.

Per Sports TV Ratings, an average of 1.677 million viewers watched the show this week. This number is up from last week when 1.591 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.51 rating, which is also up from last week (0.50 rating in the same demographic). 

This Week’s WWE RAW

This week’s episode of WWE RAW opened with Damian Priest defeating Sami Zayn. JD McDonagh assisted Priest in picking up the win.

Elsewhere on the show, Chad Gable defeated Ludwig Kaiser by disqualification after the rest of Imperium interfered. Tommaso Ciampa also temporarily paused his search for Johnny Gargano to defeat Bronson Reed.

It was also announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will defend the Undisputed WWE World Tag Team Titles against Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a Steel City Street Fight at Payback on Saturday.

In the main event, Becky Lynch defeated Zoey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
