WrestleMania 41 was a big enough success that it looks like WWE is already considering another visit to Sin City.
Earlier this week, WWE revealed WrestleMania 41 was the most successful and highest-grossing event in WWE history. This year’s Mania drew 124,693 fans over two nights, and it is the most-viewed WrestleMania ever, as it saw a 114% rise in viewership compared to last year.
WWE also touted its successful merchandise sales and WWE World attendance, as well as On Location experiences for boosting this year’s figures.
It would seem likely that WWE will want to return to Las Vegas soon for another WrestleMania event, and that appears to be the case. Andrew Baydala is reporting that WWE is considering hosting another Mania in Las Vegas in the next 3-5 years. This would potentially give Las Vegas the option to host WrestleMania 44, 45 or 46, if those plans came to fruition.
“It seems that WWE is looking to bring #WrestleMania back to Las Vegas within the next 3-5 years,” Baydala wrote on Twitter. “WWE was extremely pleased with how the entire weekend went and truly felt that Las Vegas was an ideal location for their most significant event of the year.”
New Orleans will host WrestleMania 42. WWE has not announced a city or venue for WrestleMania 43 as of now.
Night one of WrestleMania 41 was headlined by a triple threat match between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. John Cena and Cody Rhodes main evented night two with a battle over the Undisputed WWE Championship.
