One of the most decorated stars in WWE is former Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill, and recently, a WWE Hall of Famer compared Cargill to a wrestling legend.
While speaking on his Off the Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi compared Jade Cargill to the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna. He claimed that Cargill is the “reborn” version of the late professional wrestler.
“You don’t get specimens that look like that often. That’s like a reborn [version] of Chyna… the black version. You see her, she looks… like a goddess. You can stick her in a Marvel movie, and that movie will be a hit.” [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
Rikishi also suggested that WWE should take some time and be more patient in Cargill’s development.
“There’s always a way to work around, if it’s the athletic ability, or the psychology, the working, whatever the case it may be. If it was me, I’d be patient with her. I would just give her a little bit more extra repetitions, you know, in the ring and kind of… tap into the weak spots.” [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
The WWE Hall of Famer then compared Cargill to Rhea Ripley. He mentioned how WWE took time to push the Eradicator. Ripley took her time to understand the business and get into her groove, and now, she’s one of the top stars in the industry.
“Rhea Ripley, I mean, same way. It started in the beginning, you know, until she found her groove. I don’t think that maybe Jade didn’t find it yet, but don’t give up on her yet. Hey, Rhea Ripley, look at her. She found it, and she’s one of the biggest superstars, female superstars, in WWE today,” Rikishi said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
