Spike Dudley has spoken his mind about the WWE Hall of Fame.
Matthew Jonathan Hyson, otherwise known as Spike Dudley, is considered one of the toughest superstars to compete in the squared circle. He gained notoriety for putting his body through extreme punishment in ECW before bringing his talents to WWE.
His time in WWE saw him give fans some of the most uncomfortable bumps ever seen on television. Spike left the company in 2005, joined TNA the following year, and retired from active in-ring competition in 2010.
During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Spike Dudley was asked about potentially being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“I have no idea, and don’t really care,” he replied. “That’s not for me to decide. I mean, my body of work, probably not.” [H/T Fightful]
Dudley hasn’t competed in the ring since 2023. Fans can read about his last match here.
