Those in NXT can say Joe Hendry‘s name tonight without worry, as the TNA Wrestling star competed at a WWE Live event in Manchester earlier this afternoon.
WWE hosted a live event on August 26 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. While plenty of top talents from RAW and SmackDown were advertised, the former TNA World Champion was not.
The Miz came to the ring and laid out an open challenge during the show. The challenge was answered by Joe Hendry, and a member of the WWE Universe caught this shocking moment on video.

The former WWE Champion didn’t fare well against the former TNA Champion as Hendry picked up the victory in their match.
WWE’s continued use of Hendry certainly indicates that they’ll be signing him right after his contract with TNA expires later this year.
