Hulk Hogan’s Son Sues Bubba The Love Sponge Over Sex Tape Documentary

A legal battle appears to be brewing between Hulk Hogan‘s family and former friend Bubba The Love Sponge.

According to TMZ, Hogan’s son Nick Hogan has filed a lawsuit against the radio personality over an upcoming documentary on the Hulkster’s infamous sex tape scandal.

Bubba has previously announced to release the documentary, titled, “Video Killed The Radio Star: The Untold Story Of The Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal” later this month.

The TMZ report states that Nick, whole real name is Nicholas Allan Bollea, filed the lawsuit in a Florida federal court on Tuesday, as the representative of his father’s estate. The filing alleges that the unreleased documentary infringes on Hulk Hogan’s copyrights and trademarks.

“Nick states the doc — which promises to tell the real story of how Hulk’s romp with Bubba’s then-wife, Heather Clem, got leaked to the media — includes unauthorized images from the sex tape,” per TMZ.

The lawsuit further asserts that Bubba (aka Todd Alan Clem) has been promoting the documentary using Hulk’s trademarks without permission and that the documentary’s release would violate a settlement agreement between Hulk Hogan and Bubba from 2012.

Hulk Hogan passed away last month after suffering a heart attack. A recent report from TMZ claimed the pro wrestling icon may have been a victim of medical malpractice. Fans can read the full report here.
