WWE is coming back to Las Vegas on a more frequent basis.
On Wednesday, TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE and UFC, announced an extension of its partnership with T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The agreement will run through 2030, and it guarantees a minimum number of WWE and UFC events per year.
According to a press release issued about the new terms, there will be a minimum of two WWE events per year at T-Mobile Arena. In addition, the venue will host at least four UFC events each year, meaning TKO will host at least six total events in Las Vegas each year.
The original agreement, which started in 2017, was between UFC and T-Mobile Arena. It was the first-ever agreement that saw a global sports brand (non-traditional sports franchise) become an Anchor Tenant of a major entertainment venue.
