WWE Announces Special Edition Of NXT at Theatre at Madison Square Garden

WWE is bringing NXT back to the Garden.

On Friday, WWE announced it will host a special edition of NXT at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The show will take place on Tuesday, November 18 and it will air live on The CW starting at 8 pm ET.

This event is one night after John Cena makes his final appearance at Madison Square Garden on the Monday, November 17, episode of WWE RAW. WWE is advertising the following performers for the event: NXT Champion Ricky Saints, Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, NXT North American Champion Ethan Page, NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca, and Trick Williams.

Tickets for the NXT show at MSG will go on sale beginning Wednesday, October 8, at 10am ET/7am PT via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can also purchase tickets during an exclusive pre-sale by visiting Ticketmaster.com and using the code WWEVIP starting Monday, October 6, at 10am ET/7am PT until 11:59pm ET/8:59pm PT.

The November 18 show marks the second time NXT will host an event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. NXT Roadblock took place at the venue on March 11. That show featured a TNA World Tag Team Title Match between The Hardy Boyz and Fraxiom, and a Winner Takes All title match between Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia.

Two things of note related to the announcement are first, that Trick Williams isn’t advertised as TNA Champion anymore. In addition, the NXT show takes place the same week that AEW is nearby in Newark, New Jersey, for its Full Gear pay-per-view on November 22, which means the tri-state area will have a big week of shows to attend.
