Roman Reigns recently shared his opinion on Paul Heyman’s current status and feels that he has become the master to his former Wiseman.
Currently, Heyman is aligned with The Vision and serves as the Oracle for Seth Rollins’ group. Reigns is in an ongoing feud with the stable and even choked Heyman out at Wrestlepalooza.
During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the Head of the Table discussed his former manager’s new alliance with Rollins’ faction. Reigns praised Paul Heyman, but claimed that he already knows everything the Oracle is now teaching his new allies.
“I would say anything that I need to be worried about, he’s doing right now. When we get out there physically in that capacity, [I] never worried about the old man. You know what I mean? It is what it is. I choked him out last time. Just him getting in the bubble, he already understands that. But any type of layered plan, any type of foil that he’s trying to plan at this point, I think it’s being game-planned, in the forefront, so [I’ve] just got to be ready for everything.
“He taught me so much. I sat under his learning tree, I caught shade for a long time so anything that he’s teaching all these other guys he’s already [shown me]. Sure, he’s long-winded, so he’ll keep on telling his stories. I’m like a sponge, [that] absorbs so much from the former wise man that I think he’s gone dumb now. I don’t think he’s the same guy. I think, yeah, it’s become one of those situations where I’ve become the master,” Roman Reigns said.
Roman Reigns feels that Paul Heyman is a ‘Wise Soul’
Despite not being surprised by Heyman’s antics, Reigns referred to Heyman as a wise soul. He noted how he and The Usos would sit and “take counsel” with Heyman and hear his stories. Even if Heyman shared the same story, Reigns would still listen intently to see if the mantra or the moral had changed, or if he’d add something else.
“He’s a very wise soul. So you gotta be smart when you’re around someone like that, because you can learn so much.”
