A WWE Hall of Famer believes it’s time for Jimmy Uso to carve his own path or risk being replaced by other family members.
Jimmy Uso may be thriving in singles competition, but he has not been pushed by WWE creative like his twin brother, Jey Uso, who won the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble before capturing his first world title at WrestleMania 41.
During a recent episode of Busted Open, former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry shared his thoughts on Jimmy’s current WWE run, stating that the former tag team champion needs to establish his own identity or risk being overshadowed by other members of The Bloodline.
“Are y’all starting to become fans of Jimmy Uso being his own man? I am,” Mark Henry said. “I think that Roman is trying to tell Jimmy, ‘Go be your own man. You’ve got a baby on the way, you don’t need your brother, you don’t need me, you don’t need your wife, all you need is your two fists and to get in the ring.’
“I had to do it on my own, and I was told, ‘Hey, if you can’t fend for yourself, we’re only gonna be able to use you in the middle of card. We can’t put you at the beginning, we can’t put you at the end.’

“And when you get that realization, you better turn it up or get lost in the shuffle. That’s where Jimmy is. He’s at the place in his career where he has to fend for himself, become a main event player.
“If not, he’s gonna constantly be on the floor while his brother is wrestling, while his cousin is wrestling. And then he’s gonna see his other relatives like Jacob Fatu become a main guy. I can see Zilla Fatu coming in, in the next year or two.” [H/T: WrestleTalk]
Jimmy Uso was seen in action last Friday on WWE SmackDown. He took on Drew McIntyre in a No Disqualification match. The finish of the match saw McIntyre hit Jimmy with a Claymore kick for the win. Catch up on everything that went down on SmackDown here.
