Lex Luger has shared a positive health update.
WWE Hall of Famer and two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger took to X/Twitter to share a heartwarming health update. He posted a picture of himself standing on a step ladder, trimming a Christmas tree in his house.
Lex Luger pointed out that it’s been almost two decades since he’s been able to do this and thanked his friend and wrestling legend, Diamond Dallas Page, for his help. His post read:
“A picture is worth a thousand words!! Trimming our tree. Haven’t been able to do this for almost 2 decades. Thanks to my good friend @RealDDP @DDPYoga. Thank you Jesus!!!”
Lex Luger’s Recovery Journey
Lex Luger suffered a spinal injury in October 2007. He’s been going through a lengthy recovery process, but has shown some positive developments after getting help from Diamond Dallas Page, who’s helping many with his DDP Yoga.
After being wheelchair-bound for a long time, Lex Luger showed tremendous improvement after working with Diamond Dallas Page to improve his mobility and strength. He stood up on his own in a health update shared on the DDP Yoga YouTube channel in February 2025. He also did the same, along with taking a few steps to the podium with assistance during his Hall of Fame induction in April.
In another update shared in August, Luger was seen walking around a kitchen island with mild to no assistance from trainer Autumn Swansen.
