John Cena officially announced the full lineup for both 2025 Iron Survivor Challenge matches during the WWE NXT.
Last week, NXT General Manager Ava confirmed that Cena would be the one choosing all the competitors for both matches, calling 2025 an incredible year for the brand and reminding fans that Deadline is only three weeks away, taking place on December 6.
The 17 times WWE World Champion appeared on WWE NXT through a video package and reveal the participants for this year’s Iron Survivor Challenge, which returns at WWE Deadline for the fourth consecutive year.
Cena announced his picks for both the men’s and women’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches, revealing the full lineups in a special segment. For the men’s match, he chose Je’Von Evans, TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater, Joe Hendry, and NXT Tag Team Champion Dion Lennox of DarkState.
He also revealed that the final spot would go to either Myles Borne or Trick Williams. Both ultimately faced each other in the main event of the show. Borne beat Williams to secure the last spot in the match.
For the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Cena announced: Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Jordynne Grace and WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey. Cena praised each competitor in the video, noting their strengths and expressing his excitement to see who will rise to the top.
The winners of the Iron Survivor Challenge matches will earn championship opportunities at New Year’s Evil in early 2026.
