Stranger Things Keeps WWE RAW Out Of Netflix’s Global Top Ten Two Weeks In A Row

The pop culture phenomenon, Stranger Things, has once again kept WWE RAW out of the Netflix global viewership top ten for the second week in a row.

According to Netflix’s website, the December 1 episode of WWE RAW once again was kept out of the streaming platform’s global top ten. Despite that, RAW still ranked as a top 10 show in 9 countries. Coming in at ninth place in the United States.

Stranger Things 5 took the top spot once again with a staggering 23.6 million views. All five seasons took up a spot in that week’s top 10 for the second week in a row.

The 10th-ranked show, Matt Rife: Unwrapped – A Christmas Crowd Work Special, clocked in with 4.6 million views. So all we know for certain is that week’s episode of RAW came in below this number.

To compare, the November 17 episode of RAW clocked in at 3.1 million views, with 5.8 million hours viewed.

What Happened On The December 1 Episode Of WWE RAW?

That week’s show kicked off with an in-ring promo from Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. They declared they want the next shot at Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors. However, they are interrupted by the former champions, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. A contendership match is made for the main event.

LA Knight and Gunther each won their respective matches to advance to the finals of John Cena’s Last Time Is Now Tournament.

Elsewhere on the show, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated The New Day to retain the World Tag Team Titles.

In the main event of the show, the number one contendership match that saw Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair take on Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY ended in a no-contest when the Kabuki Warriors got involved.

WWE RAW Review:

Tonight’s show didn’t change the landscape in the way Triple H hinted, but we did get movement in a more positive direction. Bron Breakker is officially challenging for the World Championship, the women’s tag division is being highlighted, and the finals of the Last Time is Now tourney are set. Gunther vs. Sikoa won match of the night honors, with the women’s tag main event being a close second.

Rating: B
