Chelsea Green was surprised by a recent WWE decision.
Fresh of their AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship win, Chelsea Green and Ethan Page hoped to celebrate it with forkfuls of cake. Instead, the pair (and Green’s loyal Secret Hervice member Alba Fyre) each got cake smashed into their faces by WWE NXT star Thea Hail.
“Disgusting, disgusting behavior! We were disrespected in Monterrey and we were disrespected tonight,” Green said in a social media clip afterward. “I have never been creamed on like this before!”
With latter line’s NSFW innuendo, a frenzy stirred across social media, making the entire video go viral. According to Green, though, she was shocked that WWE even broadcasted it to begin with.
“Actually, that just came off the top of my head,” Green told Insight With Chris Van Vliet when asked about the cream line. “I can’t believe they posted that, I am shocked. I came back from the creaming, I said it, and I was like, ‘Okay, do we need to redo that?’ And he was like, ‘No, I’m gonna post it.’ I’m like, what?! Ethan was like, ‘No, no, please God no!’ The things that I make that man do, oh my gosh. God bless him.
“But yeah, then they posted it, and it went viral. I was shocked. But they do be posting crazy things, because sometimes Rhea and Dom were saying some crazy sh*t, right? So maybe I shouldn’t be surprised, and I should do that more.”
Following their embarrassing and cake-filled moment on NXT, Green and Page bounced back by defeating Hail and Joe Hendry to retain their AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships. Simultaneously, Green reigns as the WWE Women’s United States Champion.
