Another AEW star is projected to be out for the foreseeable future.
According to a new report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Luchasaurus‘ injury that he revealed this week is legitimate. The star briefly appeared on the New Year’s Smash episode of AEW Dynamite. Luchasaurus came down to the ring with Jack Perry to accompany him in a match against Ricochet for the AEW National Championship.
At the time, Luchasaurus could be seen wearing a wrap on his left arm and torso. He was subsequently attacked by Toa Liona and sent backstage. According to Fightful, the injury is real, and he will miss time as a result. It’s unclear exactly how long the star will be out, or if surgery is required. However, for the time being, Luchasaurus will be out of action.
The star has recently been rising in AEW, following his fan-favorite reunion with Perry. The two, known as Jurassic Express, reunited earlier this year. Since then, the two have been inseparable.
