Despite reports and speculation to the contrary, it’s very unlikely that we’ll see Chris Jericho make his WWE return tonight on RAW.
In recent weeks, speculation has reached a fever pitch regarding former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho returning to WWE. With some reports going as far as to say he could debut as soon as tonight’s episode of RAW.
Over the weekend, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce had fun with the speculation using certain lingo that would lead fans to believe Jericho would be appearing on tonight’s show.
But not so fast…
As of this writing, Chris Jericho remains on the All Elite Wrestling’s official roster page. Why is this important?
AEW has a habit of keeping its roster page insanely up to date in terms of expiring contracts. So much so, multiple talents were removed from the roster page this afternoon. Despite that, Jericho remained.
So while there is always a slim chance Jericho could return tonight on RAW, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that’s going to happen. Despite that, tonight’s episode of RAW is a star-studded affair featuring multiple big title matches.
