TNA Star Confirms They Suffered A Serious Injury At Genesis PPV

Moose is on the mend.

TNA Genesis featured a triple-threat match against Joe Hendry and Cedric Alexander at the TNA Genesis 2026 pay-per-view. Hendry, who stepped in for TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater, defeated Cedric Alexander and Moose by pinfall.

Moose has now said that he suffered a serious injury during the match. He did not state the specific nature of his injury, but said his back was “super stiff.” Despite not confirming when it happened, the injury seemingly took place when he took a stiff back drop on the steel ring steps.

Despite confirming the injury, Moose said he’s hopeful to be at TNA’s live television tapings in Albuquerque this week.

“For those who watched TNA Genesis I did suffer a serious injury. From the bottom of my heart I want to sincerely thank everyone for all their concern and get well soon wishes. My back is super stiff still at the moment but I should be ok for @ThisIsTNA AMC live in Albuquerque,” Moose wrote on Twitter/X.

TNA is in Albuquerque on Thursday night for a live episode of TNA Impact, followed by a television taping for future content on Friday night.
