Logan Paul reacts to LA Knight‘s WWE Elimination Chamber botch.
LA Knight inadvertently delivered a viral moment at WWE Elimination Chamber last weekend. The Megastar was setting up for his top-rope elbow drop on Randy Orton when he slipped off the turnbuckle.
Despite losing his balance, Knight managed to land on his feet and still connected with the elbow drop on Orton. The Viper was even seen laughing inside the chamber after the moment.
During a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul shared his thoughts on Knight’s Elimination Chamber mishap. After taking a jab at his rival in typical heel fashion, Paul briefly broke kayfabe to defend The Megastar.
“What I’m about to say is the last thing I want to do. I don’t want to do this, bro, because I despise LA Knight and everything he stands for. Because let’s be honest, he doesn’t stand for anything. He stands for one affirmative word: ‘Yeah!’ We get it, bro. Shut up. No,” Logan Paul said.
Logan Paul says WWE Elimination Chamber botch isn’t LA Knight’s fault
“He doesn’t stand for anything — he can’t even stand on the rope. Look, I don’t want to say this, bro, but that particular botch LA Knight had is not his fault. I was in the ring watching it go down live, and I can feel the ropes before I do the jumps. They are so slippery and oily, you have no idea — especially when you’re in the last match of the night because the ropes have been used all evening, right?
“All these oily, sweaty wrestlers are just greasing the ropes up. So by the time it’s 10:00 PM and you’re the last group to go out there, the ropes are soaking wet.”
While Logan Paul took a more serious tone, LA Knight handled the moment with humor. The RAW Superstar poked fun at himself on social media, noting that even though he slipped off the ropes, he still landed on his feet and delivered the elbow drop anyway.
