Randy Orton has taken a darker turn, and his recent actions have sent shockwaves across WWE.
A few weeks ago, Orton turned heel. He attacked Cody Rhodes. Last week on WWE SmackDown, he said he wants to focus on his legacy. He also said he wants to win more titles. Cardona confronted Orton in an heated backstage where Orton hit him.

Following the incident, Cardona responded on X, formerly known as Twitter. He wrote, “I’ve known @RandyOrton for 20 years. I considered us friends. I blame myself for trusting him. I get it…he wants the Undisputed @WWE Championship……WE ALL DO! Thanks for the wake up call Randy.”
Meanwhile, Rhodes is scheduled to return on the March 27, 2026, episode of WWE SmackDown. He will address Orton’s actions. Tensions between Orton and Rhodes continue to build. Fans are waiting to see what happens next. Many wonder if Cardona will return to confront Orton.
