Myka Lockwood recently shared an emotional moment she had with The Undertaker during WWE’s L.F.G.
Speaking with Bully Ray on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio, Lockwood was asked about her time on the show. She opened up about being eliminated from the show, and what The Undertaker (who was her coach on the program) told her in an emotional moment.
“I actually will never forget that moment,” Lockwood said. “Because I’m not really an emotional person, but in that moment I was, and he looked at me and he said, ‘You will change the face of women’s wrestling. Just not yet. It will be your time. Just be patient.’ He is one of my most inspirational leaders and whenever he said that, I got a fire under me. That even though I got cut that first round, I knew there was something special more out in the future for me.”
Lockwood said the words still stick with her to this day. Now, the star is a member of NXT’s Vanity Project, and an up-and-coming star herself. She’ll always remember what the WWE legend said to her, though. “Every single day. Because if he, of all people, sees something in me, I know I have what it takes.”
