Maxxine Dupri Wins Women’s IC Title
The reign of Becky Lynch is no more as Maxxine Dupri has claimed the throne.
From New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Becky Lynch defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw. In recent weeks, Dupri had defeated Lynch by disqualification and countout. That trend then continued in an even bigger way on Raw.
When Lynch planted her with a Manhandle Slam, Dupri managed to reach the bottom rope with her foot to break the pinfall attempt that followed. Frustrated by this, Lynch dumped Dupri to the outside and began untying the turnbuckle pad. Before Lynch could capitalize on the exposed steel, however, the return of former Divas Champion AJ Lee distracted her, allowing Dupri to scale the ropes and leap off with a crossbody. With Lynch disoriented, Dupri then pinned her for the first championship win of her in-ring career.
Lynch initially captured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by besting Lyra Valkyria at WWE Money in the Bank. With her win, Dupri became the third holder in the title’s lineage.
Elsewhere on Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella attacked WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer for the second week in a row. This time, it resulted in WWE arranging a women’s title match between them at Survivor Series on November 29. It will mark Bella’s first world title match since 2018.

Jacy Jayne Reclaims NXT Women’s Title
Week one of WWE NXT Gold Rush kicked off with Chelsea Green and Ethan Page’s successful defense of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship, courtesy of a win over Thea Hail and Joe Hendry. Reigning NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley, on the other hand, wasn’t as fortunate in the main event.
Three weeks after besting Jacy Jayne for the respective title at NXT Halloween Havoc, Paxley faced Jayne in a rematch, with her Culling stablemates Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears, and Niko Vance supporting her at ringside. The support later proved to be fake as Jayne launched Paxley to the outside after kicking out of a pinfall attempt. When Paxley then tried to return to the ring, Spears and Vance stepped into her path, providing an opening for Dame to nail Paxley with a big boot as Jayne argued with the referee in the ring. With Paxley staggering, Jayne followed with a Rolling Encore to secure the victory.
Now in her second reign as NXT Women’s Champion, Jayne joins the likes of Charlotte Flair, Roxanne Perez, and Shayna Baszler as the only talents to reach such a feat. Meanwhile, Paxley is grieving the loss of another friendship and the NXT Women’s Championship.
Week two of NXT Gold Rush will host two more women’s title matches, including Fallon Henley and Zaria battling over the vacant WWE Women’s Speed Championship. TNA Knockouts champion Kelani Jordan will also defend her title against Lei Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace in a triple threat bout.
Full spoilers for next week’s pre-taped Gold Rush events can be found here.
Elsewhere at NXT Gold Rush week one, Blake Monroe retained the NXT Women’s North American Championship after Zaria threw in the towel for her challenger, Sol Ruca.

Mercedes Moné Is Undisputed
At AEW WrestleDream, Mercedes Moné conquered Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All Match for the AEW TBS and Interim ROH Women’s Television Championships. Meanwhile, reigning ROH Women’s Television Champion Red Velvet stood on the sidelines with an injury. Last night, that changed as Velvet returned to action for a unification match against Moné.
Moné and Velvet battle back and forth in the AEW Collision main event, with Velvet seemingly on the verge of victory with a German suplex. Moné, however, remained resilient and eventually put out Velvet’s fire with an avalanche lungblower for the winning pinfall. With it, Moné is now the Undisputed Ring of Honor Women’s Television Champion. Of course, she remains the proud holder of 12 other title belts as well.
This weekend, Moné has the opportunity to capture a 14th when she challenges Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Full Gear. So far, Moné is undefeated against Statlander in singles competition, having racked up two previous victories in 2024.
Elsewhere at Full Gear, a four-way women’s tag match has been arranged, with the Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) taking on the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue), Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa), and Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir. The winner will earn the right to choose the stipulation in their respective semi-finals match of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
