The biggest match on the Fastlane PPV card was announced on the go-home episode of Monday Night RAW – Becky Lynch will take on Charlotte Flair. At first, it was for the vacant RAW Women’s Championship, as Ronda Rousey was presumed to have vacated the title when she laid it down the prior week and walked away.

Stephanie McMahon made Becky Lynch sign a hold harmless contract, stating that if she were to get injured, WWE would not be liable in any way. However, just as the match for the vacant RAW Women’s Championship was official, Ronda Rousey came out and declared that her intention was never to vacate the title – all she wanted was Becky Lynch to be included, not herself excluded.

After this, she cut a promo that seemingly teased, if not cemented her heel turn. With Becky Lynch being the sole babyface in the WrestleMania main event feud, things are going to get heated as ever. Now, Becky Lynch needs to beat Charlotte Flair to make the WrestleMania main event a Triple Threat Match.

We believe that it should be the main event, and here are a few reasons why.

#5.) WrestleMania main event stakes

WWE has been doing a good job in establishing the fact that the Rousey-Flair-Lynch triangle is the most important and hottest feud in WWE right now. They’ve been main eventing shows and segments and have clearly been given the major focus, even more so than the Universal Championship match.

Though there isn’t a title on the line in this match, it’s clear that it’s the key to the WrestleMania main event, and having it be the main event of Fastlane instantly elevates the match status further heading into the grandest stage of them all.
