2011 TNA Final Resolution PPV
One Expected Step Down

I said in my “What’s Bothering Me” column yesterday that I didn’t like how TNA put over an A.J. Styles’ injury heading into tonight’s event. To me, it makes the match that much more predictable and even cheapens Roode’s win a bit as a result. I hope they don’t play it up tonight and those two simply go out and do what they do best.

The ONLY other match I’m looking forward to tonight is the James Storm/Kurt Angle match. Do they give Storm the immediate win or are there plans to drag this program out further? My guess (and hope) would be the latter as there’s no better person in TNA to help Storm develop than Kurt Angle. With that said, I expect Angle wins in “heelish” fashion or the match ends in a DQ or non-finish of some kind.

Two matches are not enough to give this PPV a step up in expectation. They could prove me wrong, but I doubt this pay per view will be worth going out of pocket 40+ bucks to watch.
