New Champions Crowned

A new United States Champion was crowned at WrestleMania 33, as Kevin Owens used a powerbomb on the apron to continue to get his revenge on Chris Jericho. A feud that developed since September gave us a strong technical match and the crowd investing early in both men. Kevin Owens needed to win this match. He can give credibility and consistency back to a title that did not seem to really help Chris Jericho.

When John Cena was United States Champion, he competed in great matches with the likes of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Owens can do this for whomever WWE decides to bring up and then finally get himself back to the Universal Championship by the end of the year. Tonight, in 16 minutes, showed how great both men are in the ring and how much they do think Kevin Owens will be a huge piece of WWE RAW moving forward.

Naomi is Back on Top

The women of Smackdown Live were on right before the main event, as a six pack challenge was one of the average segments of the night. There was not enough time for them and they should have used this on the Kickoff Show. Being live, Alexa Bliss and Naomi got the best reactions of the night. It was a feel good moment or Naomi, but I do think that Naomi should NOT have won. Alexa Bliss has been Smackdown Live Women’s Champion multiple times in a short time span. This is what RAW has done and it has backfired on the development of Bayley and Nia Jax.

Josh controls most of the creative writing and ideas for the show on a weekly basis, as well as an on-air talent.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
