#5.) The crowd erupts in ‘Rusev Day’ chants for the first time – Clash Of Champions 2017
It was Clash Of Champions and Rusev & Aiden English were competing for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a Fatal-4-Way. When Rusev had entered the ring, for the first time, the crowd erupted in “Rusev Day” chants, with The Bulgarian Brute feeding off their energy. Though he was a heel, he looked and felt like the biggest babyface in the world and that was a turning point for him.
From there onwards, fans simply refused to boo him and it would be eight full months after WWE finally gave the fans what they wanted, turning Rusev Day babyface.
