Year after year, WWE has held WrestleMania in colossal Stadiums, with it being one of the many reasons why it’s called “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”. At the grandest stage, WWE has even hit a record crowd of 100,000 people in attendance. But the fact of the matter is, WWE didn’t always need WrestleMania to sell out a stadium.

For over three decades, WWE has grown into a global entity, attracting fans from across the world. Of course, to sell out stadiums, they’ve needed to either build an extremely promising and attractive match card or simply not have had a presence in years. Either way, they’ve succeeded in doing so, and they’ve done it in several different countries and continents. If that doesn’t show the global reach that WWE holds, then nothing does.

With WWE Super Show-Down at Melbourne Cricket Ground hosting around an estimated 70,000 people,  we look at the five times when WWE have had colossal attendance in a non-WrestleMania event.
