#2.) Opening SummerSlam 1992
For massive stadium shows, you need to get a big pop to kick things off. You need to make sure that the audience starts off hot. In front of 80,000 people, WWE made the right call by having LoD open the show. It was an iconic entrance, with Paul Ellering (along with Rocco), Hawk and Animal making their way out to Wembley Stadium on their motorbikes.
The British crowd was hotter than ever, and there were plenty of fans seen cosplaying LoD. It may not have been WrestleMania, but it certainly felt like it. In fact, you might be interested to know that the 80,000 attendance of SummerSlam ’92 is believed to be more than the attendance of WrestleMania 3.
