#2.) Seth Rollins – 2018

Around late 2017, WWE’s biggest workhorse Dean Ambrose suffered a major injury that kept him out for an extensive period of time. The original plan was for Rollins and Ambrose to face off at WrestleMania 34. After the injury, Rollins became RAW Tag Team Champion with an unlikely partner in Jason Jordan.

While there were plans for him to potentially face Jordan at WrestleMania, he too got injured and this turned out to be a major turning point for The Architect. Less than a month later, he put on an all-time great performance in a Gauntlet match and showed that he was more fired up than ever. It resulted in him winning the Intercontinental title and becoming a Grand Slam Champion at WrestleMania 34 – all setting him up for a big Universal title win the following year.
