#2.) Turning on The Shield
It was just two months after WrestleMania 30 and The Shield were one of the hottest things in all of WWE. They feuded with a reunited Evolution after WrestleMania and defeated them on back-to-back PPVs. Now well-established as the brightest future stars of the company, WWE decided that it was time to conclude The Sheild’s time as a group and begin their individual journey’s to superstardom.
It was Seth Rollins who would “sell out”, stabbing Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the back to join Triple H’s Authority. On-screen, Rollins was the new company Golden Boy and he took a dark turn by betraying his Shield brethren.
It would be the catalyst for Rollins’ rapid rise to the top of the WWE food chain.
