Seth Rollins recently blasted Roman Reigns over comments involving the WWE World Heavyweight title. Rollins strongly disagreed with Roman Reigns’ claim that he made the title more relevant.
Roman Reigns won the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania 42. Punk had previously captured the title from Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Seth Rollins who was the title holder before. He was forced to vacate the championship due to a shoulder injury in October 2025.
Interestingly, Reigns once viewed the title very differently. When Rollins became the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. He had downplayed the title while he was Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Speaking on Delivering Happiness with Big Nick Turturro, Seth Rollins reflected CM Punk vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42. He admitted that he did not enjoy seeing the title in that position.
He also took issue with Reigns’ recent comments about elevating the championship’s prestige. “So, now Roman Reigns is walking around with my title, right? Talking about how he made the title relevant, which is uh bullsh*t. I’ll just say it. It’s complete bullsh*t. He knows it. I know it. Everybody else knows it. He sounds like an idiot when he says it.”
With Reigns currently holding the World Heavyweight Championship, WWE also teased a potential match between the two a few weeks ago on RAW. A brief backstage encounter hinted at unfinished business between the former Shield stablemates.
