David Arquette’s Haunting ‘Special Guest Ref’ Announcement Before Philly’s House Of Hardcore Show(Video)

David Arquette returns to the squared circle this weekend, but this time it may be different than his usual form of in-ring competition. He was scheduled to team with somewhat friend, somewhat foe in RJ City against Tyrus & Robert Strauss in tag team action, but his role looks to be changing to special guest referee. Arquette last partook in a much talked about brutal and scary deathmatch at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential Show against Nick Gage on November 16th. Arquette, while injured via light tube, still finished the match before seeking medical attention.

Arquette’s demeanor however has taken quite the turn as he prepares to suit up (potentially in stripes) for this weekend at the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia for Tommy Dreamer‘s headline House Of Hardcore: Indie Darlings show. (Note: he may be suited up for the match, but this promo? Not so much…)

House Of Hardcore 52 is stacked as in addition to the tag match above, the following bouts are currently on the card (via House Of Hardcore’s website):

Tommy Dreamer vs PCO

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match

Nick Aldis vs. Brian Cage

HOH TV Title & NWA National Title Match

Willie Mack vs Shane Strickland

1st Time Ever Women’s Match

Angelina Love vs. Britt Baker

Superstars already confirmed include: Bully Ray, Big Cass, Rich Swann, Ethan Page and more!

WrestleZone has yet to figure out who RJ City’s partner may be if Arquette is switched to the referee role, but we’ll be sure to update you once we do.

Let me say that the House Of Hardcore shows are super good for the live audience. I was at their November 2014 show at this very arena (2300 Arena) and I still consider it the best wrestling show I’ve ever been to. So many great surprises and terrific display and array of talent. I’m sure bummed I can’t make it to this one. If you’re in the area I highly recommend trying to go because you will not be disappointed.
