Former WWE Champion Pedro Morales passed away last week at the age of 76. The WWE Hall Of Famer had his funeral over the weekend and Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting via his most recent episode of “Wrestling Observer Radio” with Bryan Alvarez that the only person in wrestling to attend the ceremony was Bob Backlund.
According to Meltzer, Backlund was upset at the matter and Meltzer continues that legends like Bobby Heenan loved Morales who was known to be an extremely nice person and a very funny guy.
