Becky Lynch Chronicles Her Journey To WWE After 7-Year Absence From Wrestling

Becky Lynch was interviewed in a video posted to ESPN’s YouTube account. In the profile interview, she is asked about her journey to the WWE after taking a seven year hiatus from the ring. Becky explains that she never had a doubt in her mind that she would be signed, and that no matter what she would never show them that she was tired. Becky believed it was meant to happen, although she does say that after she got signed, she was incredibly rusty after seven years off and had Dusty Rhodes not been championing her behind the scenes she’s not sure she would be in the position she is today. She also details how she believes the Fatal Four Way match with the Four Horsewomen and the match with Sasha Banks at TakeOver really put her on the map and credits them as the moments when things “clicked” for her. Check out the full interview and video below.
