One half of the Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs, was interviewed by The Hannibal TV and he was asked about his time spent babysitting The Rock. He had nothing but positive things to say about Dwayne Johnson and revealed that he used to sneak him beers.
“We [would] babysit Duey, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson,” explained Knobbs. “When [his father] and his mother wanted to go out on dinner dates, they trusted us to have Dwayne stay down there. We fed him a couple of beers now and then, and he still says something about that to this day. At the 2005 Hall of Fame he said to my mom, ‘Did you know your son used to give me beers when I was 12 and 13?’ I went, ‘You know what, it must’ve did you some good since you’re making 100s of millions per year. How about a kickback?'”
Knobbs went on to praise Johnson as a performer as well. “Dwayne was one of the greatest guys and the family brought him up the right way. It’s all about respect.”
