WWE RAW Results (5/27/19)

At the Usos’ party, the hosts are playing Corn Hole with the Revival.

Backstage, the Mix says the new Universal Champion is going to be awesome and Braun Strowman says Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin are gonna get these hands.

Elimination Fatal 4-Way Number One Contender Match: Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz vs. Baron Corbin

During Lashley’s entrance, in a taped segment, he says he’s championship material and he’ll win the Universal Title at Super ShowDown. Corbin and Lashley gang up on Corbin before the Miz intervenes. Strowman dumps Corbin to the outside. Lashley and Strowman end up alone together and Lashley can’t take the big man down. Corbin attacks Strowman and, with Lashley, he drives Strowman into the ring post. Miz drops Corbin with a neckbreaker and kicks Lashley and Corbin repeatedly. Corbin slams Miz with a back suplex. Lashley and Corbin team up and beat down Miz, who kicks out after a neckbreaker. Lashley drives Strowman into the barricade. Miz fights off Corbin, who attempts a superplex, but Lashley and Corbin try to double-superplex him. Strowman turns it into a powerbomb-superplex combination. Strowman takes down Corbin and Lashley with a double dropkick. After running around the ring, Strowman gets blindsided by Lashley. Corbin and Lashley drive Miz into the barricade. They gang up on Strowman and hit a double suplex on the ramp. Lashey and Corbin team up and beat down Miz, who fights back until Corbin drills him into the corner. Miz rolls up Corbin for a near fall but Lashley blasts Miz with a vertical suplex. Miz counters another suplex and fights back with some punches and kicks. Miz hits a series of double knees and the corner clothesline. Corbin drops Miz with Deep Six for a near fall. Strowman gets into the ring and his corner splashes on Corbin and Lashley. He slams Miz on the apron and shoulder blocks Corbin. Lashley dives off the apron onto Strowman, who then sends Lashley into the crowd. Both men fight in the audience. Their fight moves backstage. Miz gets caught with End of Days and Corbin eliminates Miz. Corbin is declared the winner because Lashley and Strowman left the match.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Backstage, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman inaudibly talk about the Money in the Bank contract.

At the Usos’ party, the Revival sabotage the game of Corn Hole. Party goers try to pin Truth for the 24/7 title and it descends into a brawl. The chase for Truth resumes.

Firefly Funhouse

On the latest edition of “Firefly Funhouse,” Bray Wyatt holds a paper plate with his mask on it. He asks if viewers enjoyed his secret. He says “the Fiend” is here to protect us. He says people say and do horrible things andsays he finds it hard to be brave when he’s alone. He says, when he has the mask on, “I can be anything I want to be.” He tells Abby he’s not a sicko. He changes into a doctor’s outfit and calls Abby a bully. He says he’ll never let her rest. Wyatt plays limbo and says he’ll always light the way. He spider-walks under the limbo stick and says “all you have to do is let me in.”

The Electric Chair

On the first edition of Corey Graves’ “Electric Chair,” he hosts Sami Zayn. Graves says superstars will be forced to deliver the truth when they sit in the electric chair (in the ring.) Zayn sits in the chair and a member of the audience, named Eric, asks Zayn when he’ll retire. Zayn asks if Eric’s parents are related. Another audience member asks if Zayn misses the Gingersnaps from the Mixed Match Challenge. He says the girl’s parents have done a terrible job. Mike asks how it feels when Braun Strowman destroys him. Zayn says he’d rather punch Mike than answer his question but he doesn’t want to get sued. Thomas asks why Zayn hasn’t won the Universal Championship yet. Zayn says these questions are dumb and he says you could ask him about AEW. Seth Rollins comes to the ring. Zayn exits the ring and Rollins throws the chair out of the ring.

Seth Rollins vs. Sami Zayn

Zayn takes his time getting into the ring while the camera shows Lesnar and Heyman backstage. Rollins knocks Zayn down and chops him in the corner and outside the ring. Rollins clotheslines Zayn outside the ring. After stomping Zayn in the corner, the champion gets floored with a clothesline and some strikes. The two men exchange strikes and Zayn briefly grounds Rollins with a headlock. Another two clotheslines take Rollins off his feet. Zayn kicks Rollins in the face and back. The champion drops Zayn with a clothesline but gets driven face-first into the ring post. Zayn is dominating but Rollins perseveres. The champion drops Zayn with a superkick. Both men are down and Rollins gets to his feet. Rollins hits a sling blade and a blockbuster. The champion hits two dives to the outside. Rollins’ knee gives out during a powerbomb and Zayn hits a DDT for a near fall. Zayn targets the knee but Rollins fights him off. A superkick takes Zayn down but Zayn dodges a Curb Stomp. Zayn locks in a Figure 4 leg lock but the champion fights his way out. Rollins counters a Blue Thunder Bomb but Zayn hits it after another attempt for a near fall. Rollins knocks Zayn off the top rope but Zayn counters a frog splash for a near fall. Rollins counters a Figure 4 and Rollins plants Zayn with a Curb Stomp. He hits another one and pins Zayn.

Winner: Seth Rollins
