The show begins with a video package for Memorial Day.

Backstage, Mr. Money in the Bank Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman get ready for their announcement.

In Ring Segment: WWE Champion Kofi Kingston

As Kingston makes his way to the ring, a video package recaps Dolph Ziggler’s attack on SmackDown. Kingston says he’s still here and he’s here for Mr. Money in the Bank. The WWE Champion says he’s a fighting champion and he wants to beat Brock Lesnar. He calls Lesnar to the ring and dares the Beast Incarnate to cash in. Universal Champion Seth Rollins comes to the ring and says he wants to know who Lesnar will cash in on. Rollins also calls Lesnar to the ring. Brock Lesnar comes to the ring and his entrance theme chances to dance music. Lesnar dances along to it and he laughs all the way to the ring. He plays both Kingston’s and Rollins’ themes and keeps laughing and dancing. Rollins leaves and Heyman says Lesnar was going to announce who he’ll cash in on but Rollins ruined the Brock party. Heyman says Rollins deserves the blame and he leaves with Lesnar. Dolph Ziggler attacks Kingston again and hits a Zig Zag on the steel. Xavier Woods rescues Kingston and Ziggler runs away.

After a commercial break, Ziggler attacks Woods while Kingston is helped to the back. Woods fights back and drags Ziggler into the ring. Ziggler rakes Woods’ eyes and throws him into the barricade. The fight continues and Woods tosses Ziggler into the crowd. Woods dumps a trash can on Ziggler but a blow to the knee stops Woods. Ziggler bounces his face off the stairs. Using a steel chair, Ziggler attacks Woods and hits in the back repeatedly. Ziggler drives the chair into Woods’ throat but Kofi runs to the ring with a chair. Ziggler runs away.

After another commercial, Kingston and Woods stand in the ring. Ziggler walks onto the stage and says he thought he knew Kofi but the champion has been wasting his time on Lesnar. Ziggler says Kingston should be worrying about him and their match at Super ShowDown. He asks Kingston to celebrate his accomplishment because he’s the best WWE Champion. But he also says it should have been me. Ziggler asks what will happen to millions of fans when he takes the title from Kingston. He says, at Super ShowDown, “it will be me.”

Outside the arena, the Usos are hosting a Memorial Day block party with other WWE superstars. They’re listening to music and dancing. The Usos call it the Use Block Party.

Backstage, in an interview, Shane McMahon vows to beat down Roman Reigns just like he’ll beat his opponent tonight. He walks to the stage with Drew McIntyre.

Shane McMahon (with Drew McIntyre) vs. Lance Anoa’i

Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre come to the ring. Halfway down the ramp, McMahon decides to redo his entrance as the show rolls into a commercial break. Afterwards, a video package hypes up the match between Randy Orton and Triple H at Super ShowDown. McMahon says all pillars of the WWE community come down to respect. He says Roman Reigns hasn’t;t learned respect because he hit Vince McMahon. Shane runs through Reigns’ family tree and says two of them were the most vicious of all time: the Wild Samoans. Shane says he knew them better than Roman did. He says he had a front row seat to all their successes and mistakes. He says he won’t insult the Wild Samoans but he does say that Vince was always there to clean up their mistakes. Shane says he’s ready to fight but he asks what member of the Samoan dynasty will take him on tonight.

After a commercial break, Lance Anoa’i is in the ring. McIntyre pulls him out of the ring and drills him into the steps. He pushes him into the ring post and suplexes him. Shane tells him to stop but McIntyre continues the assault. Shane tells the official to ring the bell after McIntyre rolls Anoa’i into the ring. Shane repeatedly strikes Anoa’i with some punches and kicks. Anoa’i fights back with punches and a kick of his own. Shane drops Anoa’i with an elbow and locks him into a triangle choke. Anoa’i taps out.

Winner: Shane McMahon

Shane orders McIntyre to hit Anoa’i after the match. Shane locks Anoa’i into the choke again and says he’d beat up Roman’s father, too. Roman Reigns comes to the ring and takes McIntyre down with a Superman Punch. Reigns stops Shane from running away and drills him with a Superman Punch. McIntyre saves Shane from a Spear.

Backstage, Shane and McIntyre quickly exit the arena.

In Ring Segment: Mr. Money in the Bank Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman

Heyman says Lesnar wanted a referee to come to the ring because he wants to inform the champion he’ll be cashing in on. Seth Rollins comes to the ring and says the championship is his life. He tells Lesnar to shut his mouth and says Lesnar makes a mockery of the title because he’s a joke. He says he’s not afraid of Lesnar and he could beat him again right now. Rollins says Lesnar is a coward and a shell of what he used to be. He dares Lesnar to cash in his case. Heyman reads off a contract that describes Lesnar’s Money in the Bank contract terms. Lesnar cuts him off and realizes he has a whole year. Lesnar slaps Heyman with the contract and says he didn’t know he had a year. Lesnar laughs and says “screw you” to Rollins before leaving.

Members of the locker room chase 24/7 Champion R-Truth and Carmella into the arena. Truth, with Carmella on his back, runs away.

Backstage, AJ Styles describes his injury. He says he got hurt at Money in the Bank and he can’t compete tonight. Baron Corbin attacks Styles.
