Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch Set For Winner Take All Match At Extreme Rules

Universal Champion Seth Rollins overcame the odds at Stomping Grounds; even with Lacey Evans unfairly officiating the match, he retained the title against Baron Corbin. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, who defeated Evans in a singles match earlier in the night, made all the difference by taking the special referee out of the equation. To begin this week’s RAW, Rollins and Lynch kicked off the show. Rollins gave Corbin credit for knowing he couldn’t outwrestle the Universal Champion in a fair fight. Lynch said she and Rollins proved why they’re the champions.

Corbin’s music played and Evans attacked Lynch from behind. Corbin joined the fight but the champions cleared the ring of their challengers. Corbin and Evans trash-talked Rollins and Lynch. Corbin challenged the champions to a mixed tag team match and Evans proposed the bout for Extreme Rules. Lynch accepted with one condition: if they lost, Corbin and Evans wouldn’t get another chance at the championships they respectively sought. Corbin accepted and made a stipulation of his own: both championships would be on the line in the match.
