In-Ring Segment: Kofi Kingston
Kingston recounts that time he beat the hell out of Randy Orton years ago in Madison Square Garden. Kingston plays the footage in case anyone forgot. Orton appears int he crowd and tells Kingston he is tired of hearing about the one time Kingston put him through a table and when Kingston won the WWE Title. Orton says Kingston is just fake. Fake just like his Jamaican accent, and that phony “Power of Positivity” bullshit. Kington goes into the crowd and Orton hits him with a chair. Orton tries a draping DDT but Kingston escapes and hits Orton with a chair over and over again. Kingston sets up a table (after the first on breaks accidentally) to try to put Orton through it, just like he did 10 years ago. Kingston boom drops Orton through the table.
King of the Ring Semifinal Match: Shane McMahon vs. Chad Gable (Kevin Owens is the Special Guest Referee)
Gable immediately hits the Chaos Theory on Shanee. Owens count to three… quickly
Winner- Chad Gable
After the match, Shane grabs a mic and says this is now a two out of three falls match. Shane attacks Gable from behind. Shane slams Gable’s head into the commentary desk over and over again. Shane sends Gable into the timekeeper’s area. Gable surprises Shane with a crucifix. Owens measures Shane’s shoulders to make sure they were all the way down before he makes the count. Shane easily kicks out after what would have been a 10 count. Shane rolls up Gable and Owens tries to fast count Gable. Gable manages to kick out. Koppo kick by Gable. Gable lands a moonsault. Owens slow counts again and Shane kicks out. Owens looks extremely conflicted. Torture rack neck breaker by Shane. Owens tries to fast count again but Gable still kicks out. Shane tries to bring a chair into the ring. Owens stops him. Shane tries to kick Gable in the nuts. Gable catches Shane’s foot and slaps on the ankle lock. Shanee taps out!
Winner- Chad Gable
Chad Gable Advances to the King of the Ring Finals
After the match, Shane attacks Owens from behind. Shane tells Owens that he is fired.
