At IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory, Rob Van Dam shocked the world when he turned on his partner Rhino during the triple threat IMPACT World Tag Team Championship match. Rhino and Van Dam and the team of Willie Mack and Rich Swann challenged the North for the titles. Right when the former ECW legends had the upper hand, Van Dam blasted Rhino with a kick to the head. He also dropped Swann with a kick, which allowed the North to pin him and retain the titles.

The North won the titles on July 5, 2019, at IMPACT Wrestling Bash at the Brewery.
