In-Ring Segment: Kane
Kane says the Royal Rumble is his favorite event. Kane talks about how putting people through hell during the Rumble is such fun. Bray Wyatt appears on the ‘Tron and tells Kane that he shouldn’t take joy in other people’s pain. Wyatt wants to assure everyone that Ramblin Rabbit is alive in well. As Wyatt is giving us an update on Ramblin, he removes Ramblin from life support. Wyatt notices that Kane is on the wall of victims. That means Kane and The Fiend have gotten it on. Wyatt says he hasn’t forgotten Kane. The screen flashes with highlights of previous battles between Bray Wyatt and Kane. The lights go out. By the time they come back on Kane is outside of the ring. The Fiend climbs through the ring. Kane turns around and asks The Fiend what took him so long. Daniel Bryan appears behind The Fiend. Bryan drops The Fiend with the Busaiku Knee. Bryan unloads on The Fiend. The Fiend scurries away through the hole in the ring. Bryan pulls out a few of The Fiend’s locs. Bryana and Kane celebrate and do the yes chant.
Backstage, Bryan says some think The Fiend is best at mind games but he is really just the best at disappearing and running away. Bryan challenges The Fiend to a strap match at The Royal Rumble.
Big E. w/Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison w/The Miz
Morrison lands a few strikes. Big E. runs over Morrison. Morrison lays Big E. out with a series of kicks. Morrison lands a hangman’s neck breaker off the apron. After the break, Morrison leg lariats Big E. Standing shooting star by Morrison. Big E. kicks out and picks Morrison up in the process. Big E. tries the Big Ending. Morrison escapes. Big E. lands multiple belly-to-belly suplexes. Morrison pokes Big E. in the eye. Big E. waterfall drops Morrison. Big E. lands a running splash. Moonlight Drive by Morrison. Kingston and Miz get into it. Morrison goes up top. Morrison hits a corkscrew senton off the top to Kingston. Big E. tries to spear Morrison off the apron. Miz pulls Morrison out of the way. Morrison blasts Big E. with a running knee. Morrison crushes Big E. with Starship Pain for the win.
