During a video package, it’s announced that both Kyle O’Reilly and Finn Bálor were injured during their title match at Takeover 31. Bálor has two fractures in his jaw.
Ridge Holland pulls up in a fancy car. Holland says he didn’t have it before he attacked Adam Cole.
Backstage, Damian Priest asks who will be the next man to step up.
Ridge Holland vs. Danny Burch
Holland and Burch trade strikes. Burch lands a middle rope dropkick. German suplex by Burch. Holland hits his finisher out of nowhere for the win.
Winner- Ridge Holland
After the match, Holland kicks Burch in the head and tries to walk away. Burch gets up and attacks Holland. Holland headbutts Burch. Burch drops like a sack of bricks. Holland headbutts him over and over again. Oney Lorcan hits the ring to try to make the save. Holland beats down Lorcan. Lorcan tries a dive. Holland catches Lorcan but his knee buckle. Holland looks to have legitimately injured his knee catching Lorcan. The referees throw up the X and the camera quickly focuses on Burch.
Gargano has the new TV mounted. He is watching footage of the women’s battle royal. LeRae asks Gargano what he is doing. Gargano notes that there was a USB in the box with this footage on it. Gargano says that Hartwell saved LeRae in the battle royal multiple times. LeRae says she didn’t notice. Gargano says he’s always liked Hartwell… she has a bright future.
