World Title And Tag Title Matches, More Announced For IMPACT Wrestling Turning Point; Updated Match Card

IMPACT Wrestling‘s Turning Point event is starting to take shape, as the company has announced five matches for the event.

During tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV, Deonna Purrazzo and Su Yung went at it in a Knockouts Championship rematch. Unfortunately, the match ended in a disqualification, but another rematch has been set for Turning Point.

The match came to an end after Kimber Lee slid a chair into the ring, looking to help out Purrazzo. However, Yung was able to grab the chair and fend off both superstars. However, Yung eventually landed a brutal hit to Purrazzo’s gut with the chair, forcing the referee to call the match in Purrazzo’s favor. Following the match, Barrister RD Evans came into D’Amore’s office, where he demanded another rematch. After some arguing, D’Amore relented, saying that a No Disqualification match will take place at IMPACT’s Turning Point.

After the show concluded, several more matches were announced based on some of the events that took place on tonight’s show. Both the World Championship and Tag Team Championship will be on the line, and Swoggle will face off with Brian Myers. The updated match card is below:

IMPACT Wrestling jumped into a murder mystery angle with ten suspects on this week’s episode after last week’s ‘shooting’ of Johnny Bravo at his weird wedding to Rosemary.

In the ring, Knockouts Champion Su Young clashed with the bitter former champion Deonna Purazzo while IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann was featured in a tag team main event. WrestleZone Wrap-Up covered this week’s IMPACT on AXS TV with Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, Dominic DeAngelo, Kevin Kellam, and Robert DeFelice.
