There are new reported details surrounding Adnan Virk’s 7-show run in WWE.
Shortly after beginning his role as the Monday Night Raw play-by-play analyst, Virk and WWE mutually agreed to part ways.
Now, a new report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is providing new details on Virk’s run and quick exit.
The report notes that both sides knew early on that the partnership wasn’t working and while the exit was Mutual, WWE had made the decision to move forward without Virk by May 24.
After his exit, he was replaced by Jimmy Smith, an MMA broadcaster. Thus far, the backstage word on Smith is that he appears to be a natural fit for WWE and internally, WWE is very happy with his initial outing.
