Ian Riccaboni Provides Update On Bandido’s ‘Big Lucha’ Show Possibly Airing On ROH HonorClub

This week, Bandido held a big wrestling event at his gym that featured talents of Ring of Honor and Big Lucha titled “Mexicanos Al Grito De Guerra,” but a lot of wrestling fans missed out on watching it as it didn’t air on ROH Honor Club.

The event featured ROH World Champion Bandido defending the title against Matt Taven. It also had other Ring of Honor talents on the show like The Briscoes, Delirious, PJ Black, and more.

This morning Ring of Honor commentator Ian Riccaboni took to social media to announce plans are in motion to stream last night’s “Mexicanos Al Grito De Guera” event on Honor Club:

“For those asking if we will be seeing last night’s event from @bandidowrestler’s Gym on ROH, I’ll be cutting English commentary soon & *I believe* the idea is to have it in full on HonorClub w highlights on Week by Week. May need @RobViper & @luchablog’s help w/ opener Grinning face,” Ian Riccaboni tweeted.

Riccaboni was quick to mention that it’s not a done deal yet, but its something that Ring of Honor is working on:

“I think we’re still working on crossing T’s and dotting I’s but I’m hopeful I’ll get to call this one for y’all!” Ian Riccaboni said in a follow-up tweet.

A fan then asked Ian Riccaboni if this broadcast on Honor Club would include former NXT UK wrestler Travis Banks, who was involved in the Speaking Out movement in 2020. Riccaboni was quick to point out that he wouldn’t be calling that match:

“Holy Smokes. Had to run to Home Depot shortly after Gravity jumped off the railing and rejoined after PJ made his entrance after I cleaned up my exploded plumbing. I was not aware he was in the match and will advise I will not be calling that match. Thank you,” Ian Riccaboni tweeted.
