Report: NXT Expected To Be Involved In 2021 WWE Draft, Potential Picks Revealed

It appears as if this year’s WWE Draft will include NXT 2.0.

According to the Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian, NXT will be involved in the 2021 WWE Draft, which is set to begin this Friday night on SmackDown and will conclude on the following Monday night’s edition of RAW.

In a follow-up report, Emmy Award-winning reporter and AdFreeShows broadcaster, Jon Alba mentioned that one of NXT’s hottest acts, Hit Row, is being discussed for a move over to RAW or SmackDown during the aforementioned draft.

Furthermore, the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio saw Dave Meltzer explain that both USA Network and FOX already know which “key” talent would be on each respective show. He added that as of now, WWE had planned for NXT talent to be a ‘significant part of the Draft, but nothing else was set in stone at this time.

The two-night 2021 WWE Draft begins Friday, October 1 on SmackDown on FOX and it will continue on Monday, October 4 on RAW on USA Network.
