Zelina Vega is moving on to the Queen’s Crown finals, as she took down Carmella in the semi-finals of the tournament on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
During their match, Vega nearly came away with an early win after a quick pin, but Carmella kicked out before she flipped Vega down and established some control. After she kicked out of another quick pin, Carmella then hit Vega with a quick kick to the head. But she suddenly stopped and apologized to her opponent, as they had come to a “lady’s agreement” prior to the match to not strike each other in the face.
With the agreement now broken, Vega quickly went to work attacking Carmella, tackling her and hitting her with a flurry of punches. Carmella rolled out of the ring, hoping to get her facemask, but she found her rival, Liv Morgan holding it in her hands. Morgan went to hit Carmella, scaring her to roll back into the ring, and Vega capitalized by quickly rolling her up for the win. With this victory, she advances to the finals at WWE Crown Jewel, where she’ll face either Doudrop or Shayna Baszler. These two stars will compete in the other semi-final bout on the October 18 episode of WWE RAW.
