Becky Lynch is still on top.
At WWE Crown Jewel, Becky Lynch successfully defended the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against both Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Further proving she will do anything she has to do to retain her Women’s Championship, Becky Lynch pinned Sasha Banks with an inside cradle while holding the ropes for extra leverage.
With this victory, the Women’s Division in WWE is turned upside down as Charlotte Flair, the WWE Raw Women’s Champion is now a WWE SmackDown Superstar while Becky Lynch brings the blue brand title to Monday Night Raw.
Survivor Series is a month away and as is tradition, both Champions are expected to face one-on-one in a battle for brand supremacy. Currently, it is not clear how WWE will rectify the brand/champion scenario. Last year, the new day and the street profits simply swapped championship belts before their Survivor Series match, giving each team an extra title reign.
