Drake Maverick has been released by WWE.
After nearly four years with WWE, Drake Maverick has been released by WWE as of Thursday, November 18, 2021. Maverick, the former Rockstar Spud, came into the promotion as the general manager of 205 live leading up to WrestleMania 34 in 2018. Eventually, he would be brought on as a manager for the Authors Of Pain, and eventually find most success chasing after the WWE 24/7 Championship which he just won for the final time on Monday, November 8.
During all of these gimmicks, he would often play a comedy role such as peeing himself when he was the manager of the Authors of Pain or comically being pinned by R-Truth during his wedding so that he would not be able to consummate his marriage with his wife, Renee Michelle.
Drake Maverick has already reacted to his release by playing off of a video that you put out last year when he had gotten released before being brought back NXT by Triple H.
