The Undertaker believes Omos is the closest thing WWE has ever had to Andre The Giant.
The Undertaker was a guest on WWE’s The Bump to discuss his legendary career. When the subject of Omos is brought up, The Deadman has high praise for the young WWE Superstar comparing him to WWE Hall of Famer, Andre The Giant:
“Yeah, the biggest thing for him, and it’s funny that you mentioned him because I’ll say this,” The Undertaker began. “There will never be another Andre. But this guy is as close as we’ve come. I mean, and that’s a big statement, but he’s special, Omos is special, and the big thing for him to know and to realize is that he is special and that he’s different from everybody else. There’s nobody — If you look at the average size of the wrestler in general, is smaller than it was. So here’s this guy who is incredibly athletic, and he’s incredibly huge. He is a big, big, strong man. It’s important for him to make sure that he protects that. And sometimes, guys don’t understand what that means. And he and I have had a couple of conversations about what he should do and what he shouldn’t do. And if things get too heated, call me. He’s got my number.”
Whether or not Omos ever gets to the heights of popularity that Andre The Giant did remains to be seen, but the stamp of approval from The Undertaker will likely go a long way for him in his WWE career.
